CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
THEME PROPOSED : THE SPACES OF THE IMAGE

We invite artists to submit work for the 11th presentation of Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal, an international biennale of contemporary photography, that will take place in September 2009. All the exhibitions and activities will be organized around the theme The Spaces of the Image as proposed by 2009 Guest Curator Gaëlle Morel. The Spaces of the Image will explore the manner in which contemporary photography is presented and the multiplicity of ways in which it occupies gallery and other spaces.

The guide with all the information necessary for submitting a proposal , a list of required documents and the submission deadline can be downloaded from our Website. Submissions that do not conform to these instructions will not be considered. The call for submissions will run from April 4 to May 5, 2008 inclusively.

Premio Inge Morath de Magnum Photos

Para fotógrafas menores de 30 años al 30 de abril del 2008, que también es la fecha límite de envío. Solicitan entre 40 y 60 imágenes en archivo Power Point Slide Show (no PDF, HTML o quicktime) a:

Premio Canon de Mujeres Fotoperiodistas

Canon y el Festival Internacional Visa pour L’Image organizan este concurso dotado de 8000 euros para ayudar a financiar un proyecto fotográfico. Se premiarán a 3 fotoperiodistas. Enviar entre 10 y 20 imágenes de un solo proyecto antes del 31 de mayo del 2008.
